At three, children are developing new ideas, stronger independence, and an increasing ability to communicate their thinking.

Early Academics

Literacy, math, science, and STEAM are woven into the day through meaningful experiences—mark making, books, counting, building, measuring, experimenting, and investigation.

Learning Through Inquiry

Children explore their own questions and ideas through open-ended materials, art, dramatic play, building, and nature. Teachers intentionally extend their thinking through materials, conversation, and new challenges.

Growing Independence

Children are given time and opportunities to do things for themselves, solve problems, communicate their needs, navigate emotions, and contribute to their classroom community.
